Track after track, the singer explores what love is, beginning with ‘Love of Another Kind’ (i.e. Jesus’ love), continuing with track two’s ‘(Love Will) Find a Way’, and on it goes. With this Maranatha CD, you get tight harmonies, singable tunes, and Scripture-inspired lyrics. The music is more than competent. You will probably not have any of their ten tracks played at your wedding or funeral, but they may raise the level of your commute a bit. That’s what these albums are for.

It’s a big world and artistry represents a big world within that world. There’s room in all of this, thank the Creator, for Sarah Brightman and her multiple musical personae. You can’t fit Brightman into a single genre and you’ll only become bitter if you try.
