This Focus on the Family ‘magazine for teen guys’ covers topics like spirituality, sports, music, gaming, maintaining sexual purity, all from a Christian worldview.
Some older Christian young guys will want something deeper. Breakaway tends not to go there, seeking instead to engage a relatively short attention span and to suggest to its owner that a healthier, more meaningful way to live exists than the one their culture tells them is normal.
The result of this approach is a magazine that maintains a plausible place for a chosen Christian discipleship. The editors are aware that young men are fighting a battle for their soul, life, and future.
Breakaway won’t win the battle for them. But they’ll be better prepared with Breakaway on the bedside table.
