There’s something just a bit rich about a middle-aged pencil-pusher like me choosing to open his junk mail and electric bill with a little sword.
But hey, we don’t get to do much hunting and gathering any more, so toss us a bone. A little bellicose letter-opening never turned anyone into a real-life axe-murderer.
If you’ll grant the genre a right to exist, then this Daytimer product does the trick with a nice black-and-silver touch. The sword’s case and the sword itself represents passable craftmanships and feels like entry-level quality.
Some people open their letters with scissors. Until recently, I hacked at it with a finger or thumb. Now I use a sword.
Chill out, it’ll all be ok.
